It's a Small World After All

I love, love, It's a Small World. It's more than a ride - it's a philosophy. These are the lyrics to the song that plays throughout the ride:

It's a world of laughter
A world of tears
It's a world of hopes
And a world of fears
There's so much that we share
That it's time we're aware
It's a small world after all

It's a small world after all
It's a small world after all
It's a small world after all
It's a small, small world

There is just one moon
And one golden sun
And a smile means
Friendship to every one
Though the mountains divide
And the oceans are wide
It's a small world after all

It's a small world after all
It's a small world after all
It's a small world after all
It's a small, small world

I have been riding this ride since the first time I came to Disneyland. It never gets old. The ride takes you by boat through the whole world, where you see people of all cultures singing, dancing, enjoying life. Of course, they're all animatronic characters, but they're all delightful. When you get off the ride, you can't help singing or humming that song for the rest of the day.

I took this picture in front of It's a Small World in 1972. It looks the same today.
